Harry potter vs SHAKESPEARE project
1. Rewrite the standard in your own words. How does this standard relate to the assignment?
The standard is 6Sp4, and 5C. The first standard says, students display numerical data in plots on a number line, including dot plots, histograms, and box plots. This relates to the assignment because we needed to make a dot plot on our worksheet and our poster. The second standard is, Students give quantitative measures of center (median and/or mean). This assignment relates to the standards because this project is mainly about mean, median, and mode.
2) What are the steps you took to complete and do well on this assignment?
First, I got a sheet of a paper. Then I answered the question of mode, and counting. Then I got a new colorful paper. With the colorful paper, I drew the chart, and the plot on it. Then, I decorated, ( for ex: making pac-man on dot plot.) it. Finally, I turned it in and got a 3!
3) This assignment demonstrates the following strengths...
This project demonstrates that I know mean, mode, and range. This is because, if I didn't know, I wouldn't be a b;e to solve the mean, median, and range of Shakespeare and Harry Potter.
4) I could have improved my work on this assignment by..
I could improved if I have gotten a 4. I wish I gotten a 4, but I got a 3. Also, I want to improve on my math, because I think I got a three for doing the math wrong.
5) How will you apply the skills you learned from this assignment in either the real world when you are an adult or in other classes while you are still s student?
This can help me if I create a camp. If i make a camp, I can find the mean, median, and mode. If we play a game and if we are trying to find the one remaining person , we can get in a horizontally line, and we can find the remaining person in the middle by median. Also, if we get into groups, we can use mean to separate the groups by adding the number of people and dividing it by the number of how many people are there. Also, I can use mode to find out many many people are there for each age and who has the most number of age people there are.
